Amy brings a neuroscience and trauma informed approach to her massage therapy treatments, with 13 years of experience.
Her fascination with health led her to initially pursue training in fitness, functional movement and exercise psychology, becoming a personal trainer in 2000, then becoming a certified yoga therapist, where she worked with neurodivergent clients, and clients living with chronic pain.
In 2011 she became a registered massage therapist, graduating with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.
Since becoming an RMT she has focused on sport massage as a sport massage certification candidate, working with adult and youth athletes through training and injury recovery, perinatal care including an outreach for high risk pregnancies at Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto, and chronic pain with a focus on bringing more empowered self-care along with manual therapy for chronic pain.
Her own experience with recovering from chronic pain and other chronic neuroplastic symptoms helps her bring compassion and experience to the process of regulation of the nervous system and calming pain signals during massage therapy treatments.
She offers an online program, Empowered Pain Mastery, to clients as well as online chronic pain coaching.
Whether you’re seeing Amy during recovery from surgery or injury, support in mobility or strength training, looking for comfort during pregnancy, or seeking out a more active, empowered approach to working through chronic pain, Amy will have a treatment plan complete with self-care so you can continue the process after your treatments.
She understands how important it is for you to feel comfortable and capable in your body so that you can enjoy being active in the things that bring you joy, and she’s dedicated her continuing education over the years to helping you reach those goals using evidence-based therapy.
When she’s not working with clients, you can find her mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, at the gym, singing, playing cello, reading a book, or just generally enjoying life.

Dr. Leah Stadelmann is a founder and co-owner of MoveRight Squamish. Leah was born and raised in Ontario like so many who are now fortunate enough to call Squamish home. Having fallen in love with the West Coast while completing her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at UBC, it was a no-brainer to move back West after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2007.
She opened a chiropractic clinic with her partner Dr. Paul Fleming in 2009 and for more than a decade, they have been practicing in Squamish. Leah utilizes a multi-modal approach to patient care, including soft-tissue therapy, manual adjustments and functional rehabilitation… yep, that’s a fancy way to say exercise! She focuses on active care and education with patients, in order to help speed up recovery and optimize function – so they can participate in all of the amazing activities in Squamish.
Growing up, Leah was a competitive athlete in Figure Skating and Swimming. As such, she is no stranger to injury – both traumatic and overuse, and early on, learned the importance of having a good team of practitioners for support. These days, she continues to keep active, participating in Squamish’s backyard activities; an avid hiker, trail runner and skier, and recently she has been introduced to the wonderful world of mountain biking.
